Kasey Fey brings over 15 years of experience living and working in the Lower Florida Keys to her role as Community Engagement Coordinator for Last Stand. A passionate advocate for environmental protection and sustainable development, Kasey is deeply rooted in the local community and has built lasting relationships with residents, business owners, and conservation partners throughout the region.
Kasey has an extensive background in environmental education and nonprofit leadership. She previously served as the manager of Keys Keeper, a marine conservation nonprofit, where she led initiatives focused on protecting coastal ecosystems and promoting community involvement.
She also worked at Seacamp, where she taught marine science and inspired the next generation of ocean stewards through immersive, hands-on learning experiences.
In addition, Kasey proudly served a three-year term on the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council, where she contributed to shaping policies that protect our region’s unique marine environments.
With her combined experience in community organizing, nonprofit management, marine education, and real estate, Kasey brings a well-rounded and deeply committed perspective to her work at Last Stand. Whether she’s coordinating events, collaborating with other environmental groups, or listening to community concerns, Kasey is driven by a deep love for this island paradise and a mission to keep the Keys the Keys.
